PurposeThis site is to showcase my photographs and videos. The original intention was for a large commercial site of stock movies and photography but the arithmetic suggested that the earnings would probably not recoup the costs involved. So here is a more modest offering.  CopyrightI assert copyright over all images and movies on this site (with the exception of illustrations by Marcus Stone, Dalziel and W.T. Green to 'Our Mutual Friend', first published 1864-1865, pages and images from Mrs Beeton's Every Day Cookery 1890 and images taken from The Strand Magazine 1887, including the drawings by J A Shepherd and George Cruikshank, all of which I believe to be now in the public domain). TechnicalTo view this site optimally, you will need to use a javascript enabled and java enabled browser. There is a known problem with some Mozilla based browsers running under Unix in that they render the text very small.
